The production then mainly concentrated on textile filter media, textile components for machines and paddings as well as covers for ironing machine.

In addition thereto, an extensive trading program of operating facilities has been established for these product ranges.

The import and export activities have been included in our business from the beginning.. Today POLYTEX Industrietextilien GmbH supplies throughout the world and achieves a large percentage of its turnover abroad.

At the end of the seventies the range textile identification with the printing technique of textile labels as well as application machines has been taken into our program and has been systematically extended since then.

In the mid eighties we had taken over the distribution of products for CI decoration of workwear and protective clothing including the necessary application machines.

At the beginning of the nineties we added a new focus within the range of system lockers for the distribution and collection of workwear.



In the mid nineties the new building for the administration and production had been implemented. One year later the new storage building was completed and taken into use.

At the turn of the millennium we managed to take over the patents, trademarks and production facilities of Elastopress Ferotex GmbH which meanwhile have been integrated into our overall organization.

Today POLYTEX Industrietextilien GmbH sees itself

• as manufacturer and supplier within the range of technical textiles as well as textile filter media for industrial and business companies
• as manufacturer and supplier within the range of accessories for production, trading and service companies of laundry machines
• as trading partner within the range of textile identification for laundries, hospitals and nursing homes.
• as trading partner within the range of materials and application machines for CI decoration on workwear to manufacturers, trading and leasing companies.
• as trading partner within the range of system lockers for the distribution and collection of workwear with the additional sectors:

  • wardrobe facilities
  • organization lockers
  • seatings for changing rooms
  • lockers for personal valuables
  • separating walls for changing rooms

Since 1983 Polytex Industrietextilien provides vocational training as a wholesale and foreign/export trade merchant. This assignment has been continued till this day.
